Bob Schloredt

Robert Schloredt (born October 2, 1939) is a former college football quarterback for the Washington Huskies. He was awarded the 1959 W. J. Voit Memorial Trophy as the outstanding football player on the Pacific Coast. He played in the 1960 and 1961 Rose Bowls and is the first, of only four players (the others are Charles White, Ron Dayne, and Vince Young), to be twice named the Most Valuable Player. He is blind in his left eye.
He played Canadian football for two years for the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League and then was assistant coach for the Washington Huskies for eleven years. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1989. He was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 1991.
